Trim Shop – sustainably oriented to customer benefits
In today's vehicle, aircraft, marine interior and medical technology development, interior design is one of the most important influencing factors. The customized and digitally developed solutions of the Trim Shop at FEV's Wolfsburg branch provide vehicle users with a visual and haptic experience. With high quality standards for services and products, our specialists also ensure comfort and safety - always geared to the customer's requirements. We offer:
- Digital 3D cover development
- Cover modification in leather, imitation leather, as well as sustainable fabrics
- Creation of templates for cutting, digitalization (Optitex)
- Laminating and covering of interiors (door inserts, armrests, I-panels, vehicle headliners, steering wheels)
- Foam processing, e.g. according to foam templates
- Incorporation of comfort elements (air cushions as lordoses, side bolsters, air conditioning and heating systems)
- Construction of initial samples for concept presentation (prototypes)
